How Impax is ensuring business continuity in current circumstances
We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and are taking numerous steps to remain fully operational during this very unusual time.
In this regard, we are focused first and foremost on taking all reasonable precautions to protect the health and safety of our staff while continuing to provide full service to clients, shareholders and other stakeholders.
Impax has a robust business continuity and resilience program that includes standards, controls, and exercises for infectious disease and pandemic planning.
The Impax office in London is closed. In other regions offices remain open for those who choose to attend in person on the understanding that they adopt local government advice in relation to self-isolation in the event of COVID-19 symptoms. To make our office environment as safe as possible, we continue to take precautionary measures with all staff and are regularly sanitizing our office space and common areas at all global locations.
We have suspended business travel and are converting in-person meetings to conference calls and/or videoconferences wherever feasible.
In light of this, individual teams are evolving their working practices to ensure good coordination and to maintain morale for an extended period of remote working and possible social isolation.
Impax staff are already accustomed to working from home, and the firm has tested infrastructure in recent weeks to ensure its reliability for this scenario.
We have spoken with our third-party vendors across the globe and they have assured us that there is no foreseeable impact on the service that they provide to us. If a vendor should fail, we have extensive contingency plans in place to ensure continuity of operations. We will continue to monitor in real-time to predict and react to the ongoing situation.
